Dear Arts Enthusiasts in Southern New Mexico, Far West Texas, and Northern Chihuahua,
As this situation with the COVID-19 continues to clarify, we at the Doña Ana Arts Council are monitoring requests from our local, state, and national governments as well as advice from local, state, and national health agencies in order to maintain the greatest experiences as well as the greatest safety for our patrons. Under the current circumstances, we are postponing all major events that include ten or more people for the remainder of March and for the whole month of April. We do this in hopes that we can reschedule those events later this year. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and hope to be able to get back to you soon with new dates for these offerings.
Meanwhile, we are also listening to the instructors for our classes and workshops to determine which of them are planning to still present as scheduled. Sometimes this includes calling those who have signed up to see if they still plan to attend. Please bear with us as this often means that some people still very much want to attend and others don’t. We are trying to balance comfort and safety on class sizes and arrangement.
We hope all of you will stay well and keep looking to the Doña Ana Arts Council for access to the arts in our region.
