Join us on May 2nd for the World Premiere Book Launch of SEX ON STAGE, the newest collection of writings edited by local scholar, Dr. Lynn Sally, and published by Bloomsbury. Hear stories about writing and pitching this provocative book interspersed with excerpts from the collection. This special event will be held at Dona Ana Arts Council’s main gallery at 230 S. Water Street. Books will be available for purchase.
Sally’s previous book, NEO-BURLESQUE (Rutgers University Press), was hailed a “feminist tour-de-force…a must read” by Annie Sprinkle and as a "remarkable treatise… a serious examination of an art form that has been tossed off as frivolous entertainment” by the Sierra County Sun.
